Enough of The Bad NewsI turned off the television and fired up my Facebook page. I asked my friends for some good news. Unfortunately, only one friend responded. I tried again the next day…and again, only one friend responded. So on the third day I decided I needed to “lead” the conversation. I gave my good news for the day and asked my friends to share theirs. Eight friends responded. Now I have friends who look forward to reporting their daily “good news”…and I LOVE reading it!
Connect With Potential ClientsSocial Media is your way to connect with people on a personal level. You can post some business information but you need to be careful in how you present it…but it can be done. Just remember the “social” in Social Media. Have fun with it and find your voice. You too can get off the hamster wheel and talk about the positive things that are going on in your world…both personal and in real estate. With so many people getting their news from the Internet and social media, this is a great opportunity for you to stand out from the crowd and start a conversation.
Make Social Media Part of Your Marketing PlanI realize that many people are a little shy when it comes to Facebook, but it’s time to face the facts…it’s not going any where, so you may as well embrace it. People like to work with people they like, know and trust. Social Media is a good way to allow people to get to know you a little better and to build a level of trust. In time you will find that you actually get business from it at which point you’ll wonder what took you so long! Social Media is now another component of real estate agent marketing.
