Can motivational speakers really and truly motivate you? Sure they can get you hyped up for 30, 60, or even 90 minutes, but what happens when you go back home, back to the office or back to your car? How long does that “motivation” last? My guess is…not long.
Each of us must find our own motivation, and it’s within us, not on some stage, a book or a CD. So what motivates you?

Success
Most real estate agents come from another profession in which they were very successful. As a result, they are determined to become a success in real estate and won’t stop until they achieve that level of success year after year after year. Success motivates them to be the best they can be.Freedom
After years of having someone else tell you what to do and when to do it, real estate offers the freedom of setting your own schedule. You can work when you want to work. There’s nothing like setting your own schedule. Real estate also provides you the opportunity to work hard and get paid well for all of your hard work. The only limits are those you put on yourself.Money
It’s a fact that the majority of us need money to survive, but that’s not what I’m talking about here. I’m talking about money for the other things that come up in life. Things like vacations, college expenses, retirement funds, investments or long-term care for an aging parent. Whether these are optional expenses or necessities, these are all strong motivators to excel as a real estate agent.Think About What Motivates You
So as you think about slacking off on making those phone calls or writing those personal notes, think about your motivating factors. When a client becomes a bit more demanding, think about why you do what you do. When you start to get down on yourself and doubt your abilities, think about how far you’ve come and the success you have achieved. And more than anything else, think about what really motivates you, then put your head down and get to work! Be prosperous!Enjoy less stress by having smoother transactions by implementing these simple strategies today!
