Often times I encounter agents who I know need real estate agent training, but they usually say they are too busy to attend. Then there are other agents who think that just because they have been selling real estate for “x” number of years, they don’t need training.
But here’s the bottom line. It doesn’t really matter how long you have been selling real estate, if you’re selling real estate, you NEED real agent training.

I’m Not Saying You Need Training because I’m a Trainer
I’m saying you need real estate agent training because I have to work directly with you to complete the transaction and when you don’t know what you are doing it can make for a difficult transaction. I’m saying you need training because when you start asking your broker questions individually it wastes a great deal of their time. I’m saying you need real agent estate training because you can learn from the practices and experiences of other agents. Our Clients Hire Us for Our Expertise and Our Knowledge
They expect us to be current on what is going on in the market, to know the contingencies in the contract, and most importantly, how to protect their money. I am shocked when new agents don’t show up for our weekly real estate agent training session. Just because you have a couple of transactions under your belt does not mean that you are now the expert in all things real estate. If you have been selling real estate for less than three years, you need to attend some type of ongoing training. And don’t think you are off the hook if you’ve been selling real estate for the past 20+ years. You need training more than ever! Contracts change, trends change, practices change and you are more than likely stuck in “the good old days”. Believe me, you can learn something new.Thankfully I Work in an Office that Offers all Types of Training on a Weekly Basis
Everything from understanding contracts to financing options to utilizing social media…it’s fantastic! The hour I spend in training helps me stay sharp and I get to hear what other successful agents are doing to serve their clients in the best possible ways. Real estate agent training is so important to me that I actually put it on my calendar so I don’t schedule any appointments for that particular hour, because it is time well spent. The Best Advice I can Give You is to get the Real Estate Training You Need
